A. Assignment of tasks for measuring health indicators:
The main objective indicators:
1.1. Body temperature.
It is recommended to set the frequency of measurements and entries in the monitoring subscription diary — at least 3 times a day, and preferably every 4 hours: at 8.00, 12.00, 16.00, 20.00.
1.2 Blood oxygen saturation — SpO2 (with a pulse oximeter) – at least 3 times a day: at 8.00, 14.00, 20.00.\
1.3 Blood pressure (elderly patients and suffering from essential hypertension) — at least 2 times a day: at 8.00 and 20.00.
The basic subjective indicators:
2.1 Breath test.
How many seconds the patient can hold his breath after the cycle “full inhalation — full exhalation”, holding it at the end of exhalation.
This test may indicate damage to the lung tissue and deterioration in respiratory function even before significant changes indicators of SpO2 and body temperature.
It is recommended to hold it at least 3 times a day: at 8.00, 14.00, 20.00
If it is impossible to conduct such a test, it can be replaced by the question: “Do you have shortness of breath after exercise?“
2.2 Change or disappearance of gustatory and olfactory sensations.
It is recommended to ask this question at least 2 times a day — in the morning and in the evening.
2.3 Having a stuffy nose or runny nose.
It is recommended to ask this question at least 2 times a day – in the morning and in the evening.
2.4 Development of weakness, “loss of strength”.
It is recommended to ask this question at least 2 times a day – in the morning and in the evening.
2.5 The appearance of a cough and its nature (dry, productive — with phlegm).
It is recommended to ask this question at least 2 times a day – in the morning and in the evening.
2.6 The appearance of pain during breathing and their localization (behind the sternum, above the collarbones, along the ribs, etc.).
It is recommended to ask this question at least 2 times a day – in the morning and in the evening.
Particular attention should be paid to persistent change or repetition of objective and subjective indicators for more than 2 control periods (for example, at 14.00 and 20.00, or in the evening and morning of the next day) — this may indicate a worsening of the course of the disease.
B. Prescribing medications:
You can set tasks for the patient not only to determine objective and subjective indicators, but also to take medications — at a certain time of the day. For example: “Take 500 mg of Ascorbic Acid, after meals, the time is 9:00”.
The patient will make a check mark, you will see that he is following your recommendations for the implementation of the treatment protocol.
Thus, you can create for each patient or person who is on self-isolation, an individual schedule for performing objective measurements, monitoring subjective indicators, taking medications, with marks of completion.
For objective indicators, you can also set limit values for each patient, the excess of which the system will automatically inform you.
If necessary, you can appoint the patient a time for a video call session, to clarify his condition, your recommendations and psychological support.
