The project “Strengthening primary health care and early detection of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in communities” is underway in the Kyiv region, which is implemented by the MedGlobal Ukraine Foundation together with the medical centers “I am your doctor” and “Medical dynasty”.
A key element of the initiative is the use of telehealth medical diagnostic systems IDIS2GO, which allow for full examinations — from ECG to biochemical analyses — even in the field. Together with this technology, doctors can quickly identify risks of cardiovascular, endocrine and other chronic diseases without the need for large laboratories.
As of October 8, 2025, 2,330 residents of the Kyiv region underwent examinations, 10,586 studies were performed.
Dislipidemia was detected at 16,5%, high blood pressure and other CVD – at 33% of patients.
7 patients were urgently referred to a cardiologist due to identified emergency conditions.
The surveys are conducted in eight communities of the Kyiv region: Tetievska, Myronivska, Zgurivska, Baryshivska, Tarashchanska, Berezanska, Yagotynska, Pereyaslavska.
These communities are particularly in need of support due to the destroyed medical infrastructure and the significant number of internally displaced persons — over 320 thousand residents.
A full-fledged ecosystem for comprehensive diagnostics and remote data description, user training and support, and a clear organization of examinations at the pre-hospital reception make it possible to conduct high-quality screening – a mass check-up, especially in rural areas, by paramedical staff.
The use of express analyzers that provide results in a few minutes, an automated questionnaire for collecting anamnesis, a unique AI algorithm for assessing cardiometabolic risks – all this significantly simplifies the implementation of the new State Program “Check-up 40+” at the primary care level.
