SK-Telemed headed the top list of companies in the Telemedicine category at the annual medical industry exhibition MEDICA2020, overtaking more than 120 exhibitors from different countries.
New online format
Due to limitations caused by the pandemic, this year’s exhibition was held on November 16-19 in the format of online workshops and virtual stands. However, this unusual format without live handshakes did not significantly affect either the progress or the results of the exhibition. Companies had an opportunity to demonstrate their products online, provide promotional materials for visitors and exchange contacts on virtual stands.

The main trends of the event, of course, were outlined by the pandemic itself. This year we see a huge interest in digital tools for remote diagnostics, treatment and communication, as well as telehealth technologies — store-and-forward, telemonitoring, telemedicine, and mhealth.
Thus, in response to the challenges of COVID-19, the SK-Telemed company presented the flagman products — Show2Doc (telemonitoring & communication platform) and IDIS2GO (telehealth medical diagnostic system). These products are already being actively implemented in healthcare infrastructures in Austria, Poland, Brazil, Ukraine, and more than 10 countries.

Implementation of daily monitoring of health status and follow-up of prescriptions for patients in self-isolation and ambulatory treatment can become an effective instrument for timely detection of changes in symptoms.
